Established in 2002, the BMS Institute of Technology and Management is a private institute accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade. This institute is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. BMS Institute of Technology and Management has been recognized by the AICTE, Government of India. The institute offers several courses such as BE, MCA, MTech, MSc, and PhD. There are seven VTU-recognised research centers in BMSIT Bangalore where 40 research scholars are working in diverse research areas.

About the Department

Computer Science & Engineering deals with the theoretical foundations of information and computation along with practical techniques for implementation and application. Admission Procedure for UG Courses

BMS Institute of Technology and Management offers 8 engineering courses. To apply for admission in B.E. under the management quota, students need to meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible for admission, the students should have appeared for common entrance examinations such as KCET, COMEDK, or JEE. The seat allocation for the B.E. courses is given below. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota, and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

The Clubs & Associations

No holistic development is complete without the active involvement of club activities in student life. The exposure to such activities has taken the growth of students to a new frontier. BMSIT&M has established several clubs and associations across all its conglomerate departments to aid in this development. These clubs vary from nature clubs to psychology clubs to dance clubs to cine clubs and much more. Students on campus actively take part in these clubs and conduct events to engage students in various activities.
