What is the 2+2 International Engineering Program (IEP)?

Under this program Thapar University through its Center for International Relations has a credit transfer International Engineering Program (IEP) in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, University of Dublin (TCD).  The academic agreement between Thapar University and Trinity College Dublin provides the students admitted to undergraduate engineering programs at Thapar University (TU) the opportunity to study at Ireland’s leading university well known as Trinity College, Dublin.

The eligible students will pursue the first two years of their course at TU before transferring to TCD in years 3 and 4 of the degree program, subject to meeting the minimum academic requirements to get transfer to TCD. The final degree shall be awarded by Trinity College, Dublin.
